web 2.0 program experience

The web 2.0 program was great experience to me. I could explore technical aspects in library world.

My favorite assignments were YouTube, Flickr, and Library Thing. Especially, 'YouTube' was fun to learn how to add videos.

What could we do differently to improve upon this program’s format or concept?
The web 2.0 team did a great job presenting the program.

If we offered another discovery program like this in the future, would you again chose to participate? Yes, sure.

Facebook began as a college campus-specific site in 2005 but expanded last year to let anyone join. As a result, Facebook is now not only still extremely popular with college students, but quickly catching on with high schoolers, giving MySpace a run for its money. Not surprisingly, this year's SEOmoz Web 2.0 Awards named Facebook the #1 social networking tool.

Hello

This is Eun Chin Lee , originally from South Korea, a catalog librarian in Alden Library, Ohio University.

Since I am handling Non English Materials in my work, my interests are various languages as well as multi-cultures in the world.

I traveled over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
I studied french in France for one year.
I worked as the Cross-Cultural Awareness Program (CCAP) librarian in the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. I took pleasure in not only doing the library works in the CCAP library, but also teaching French Culture and information literacy in the elementary schools. In addition, I have a Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a Certificate of Lifelong Education (Adult) Program Designer.

I am going to post about Non English Languages & Cultures which I'm interested in such as
French, Spanish, Korean, Thai, Chinease, and Japanese etc.
